Excellent game
A well known concept, but revisited in a whole new visual and musical way.
Great bitmap graphics, and the ambient music suits perfectly the game.

Oh, btw, when entering the first level, this error occurs:
TypeError: Error #1009: Cannot access property or method of a null object reference
at effects::Effect/disappear()
at core::Overworld/removeMessage()

at gs::TweenLite/render()
at gs::TweenLite$/updateAll()
Hmmm, not sure how you were able to get debugging information, but thanks and nice catch! I'll make sure to get that one fixed in the next release. FYI, it only happens if you enter a level while the red message is displayed on the map, so if it causes any problems for you, wait to make sure the big red message is gone before entering the level in the meantime.

decent tutorial
but it could be in as3... let's get modern !!!
thousands of people still use AS2. And people will continue to ignore AS3 for years to come. AS3 is for people who think programming languages like C are essential.
